We've been seeing more and more people painting on Luxe papers! Not only is it a great alternative to inking, it is a great way to add distressed finish, but in a vibrant color. On this layout dt member, Kimberly Brimhall used pink and yellow paint to accent her page. The yellow really "pops" against the blue polka dot and the pink brings out the details on the strip of transparency she used on the right side of the page.
Another fun detail Kim did was adding a little paint splatter to the journaling jotter before she wrote on it. We love this idea - it really ties it in color wise to the rest of the page!
Wishing you a creative & fabu-Luxe weekend! Be sure to check back Monday and see who the winner is of the LUXE LAZY BLOGGER GIVEAWAY. Also, our special is still running in our online shop! Love how the colors just pop off the page. I'm gonna have to try sprinkling. Yours came out so cute!
