Holiday Card Ideas from Luxe #3: Winter Wonderland

And here's a snowy design just in time for the weekend...

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland designed by Emily Adams

  • Cut calico paper into 4 x 8 inch pieces (4 per sheet). Fold in half to create a square card.

  • Cut flowy strips of white paper to layer as "snow" on front of card. Draw along the curved edge with a black pen. Adhere the back layer, and set the front layer aside.

  • Stamp out a snowman onto white paper. Cut him out. Do not cut out the arms or the scarf. (It will make the process so much easier).

  • Attach snowman to front of card. Add top snowdrift over the base of him so he looks like he's nestled in the snow. Draw on the snowman's arms with a black pen.

  • Cut 1/2 inch strips of striped paper (SKPA1008) and add across base of cards. Use left over paper and cut flowy shapes and add on top of snowman to recreate the scarf. Draw on fringe with a black pen.
