The weather here in Texas swings from winter to summer from day to day. It takes a while for the temperature to settle down and for "spring" to start. It's finally starting to feel like spring here and that's the theme I chose for the blog today...
Design team member, Aida Haron, sent this layout "March Fun" in to us this week. I loved the playful use of color & design - it just brought me joy the minute I looked at it.

We were asked to share a kit from one of our new kit clubs, Vintage Plum. They are brand new and have a unique approach to building their kits - EVERYTHING they only include products made in the USA. It's an intriguing concept and one that's a perfect fit for Luxe. Their first kit is called Cherish...
How cute are they? I actually got to meet them in person, since they're local girls and I love their eye for combining products & their great sense of humor. The video was such a clever way to introduce their kit! We wish them the best of luck and look forward to working with them more in the future.

Since we're having a ribbon extravaganza, we wanted to share some of our favorite ribbon projects with you!
OK - this isn't a layout, but it's one of our favorite ribbon storage ideas! DT member, Laura Stoller, stores her ribbons on styrofoam cones (attaching the ends with a straight pin) and uses the as a whimsical decoration above her scrap area. She has a "forest" of different sizes of ribbon trees.
...and speaking of Laura - here's one of her layouts where she created an entire textural background out of our ribbons!
